We had to completely veneer the top of this 17th century walnut chest with bookmatched veneers, herringbone bandings and a cross banded edge.

We can fit replacement leathers and lamb skivers in different colours with options for gilt and blind toolings.

17th Century gilded and painted mirror. This mirror was shipped to New York, and had a bad flight! The picture on the left shows how it looked once restored.

18th Century Dutch inlaid bureau we rebuilt much of the cornice and replaced some missing inlay.

18th Century brass chandelier we restored this piece with pearwood turnings and carvings, this was then gilded, the wooden repairs can be used in the future to be made into moulds which can be cast in brass.

18th Century brass chandelier This is how the chandelier looked after the wooden repairs were gilded, it hung high up in the church which made regular cleaning impossible, so we lacquered the brass which preserved the colour match between the original pie.

We undertake repairs to ripped and damaged canvasses and frames, restretching and touching in, also cleaning and revarnishing.
